I love the story of Cinderella. She lived a hard life but she kept dreaming, she went to a ball to have some fun for once, and ends up meeting the Prince. Her life is changed forever, not because of the Prince, but because due to her courage to continue dreaming, she had the courage to go to the ball, and changed the course of her own life.
Growing up I loved the movie Cinderella, one of my birthday cakes displayed her and her pumpkin carriage, and to this day I still have those little toys. I always thought she had the prettiest outfits, and not just her iconic blue ball gown, but her pink dress and wedding dress were gorgeous as well. Even her peasant dress intrigued me, especially because she was helped into it by her animal friends. I really could use those birds when I'm getting ready in the mornings.
As I began planning some Disney bounds I knew I wanted to do as many of Cinderella as possible. I decided to start at the beginning, with her peasant dress. I already had a few tops I could use but I didn't have a brown skirt or dress I could utilize. So, I enlisted the help of one of our Instagram friends, who just happens to be have a magical touch with the sewing machine.

Outfit
Rachel, with Walt's Fashion House, picked my fabric out, giving me a few choices; I was just going to be happy with plain brown but she knew it needed a pattern or something to make it stand out. We both agreed on a brown fabric with flecks of gold sparkle. The skirt turned out amazing and the sparkle was the perfect touch for my Cinderella bound. Check out Walt's Fashion House Here!

The top is a simple denim button down from Rue21 that I've had for a couple of years. You can find a similar ones here.
I wanted to keep the bound as accurate as possible so I studied the outfit and realized I was missing a vest of some sort, so I used an old, lacy, black one I've had since Sophomore year of high school. It just goes to show, you can use just about anything for your Disney bounds.

Jewelry
Necklace is a simple silver chain with a pumpkin carriage charm. One of the aspects of Cinderella is her pumpkin carriage, I don't know what it is but I love it! I the thought of something so simple becoming the object that bares Cinderella to the doorstep of her dreams. An every day item, a simple pumpkin, impossibly becomes a carriage. What's not to love about that?

The pumpkin charm is from Hobby Lobby. They have the best pieces for your Disney bounds, from jewelry pieces, flower clips, and other hair accessories, and much more. They have an entire fairy tale jewelry collection that you can make your own as well as super hero pieces if you're wanting to do a Marvel outfit.

For my earrings I scoured around for pumpkin earrings that weren't tied to Halloween and couldn't find any for the longest time. Finally, I stumbled upon these cuties at Michaels Craft Store of all places. They are perfect for the entire fall season.

Shoes
I purchased these at Walmart for under $20! They're cute for any Disney bound and that's always my goal, to have pieces which work for multiple bounds so I get the most out of an piece of clothing as possible.
