Cinderella's Royal Table Dining Review- Is it Worth the Price?

At the end of Main Street U.S.A is a shining castle where the Princess Cinderella lives. She has made her dining room open to all the guests of the Magic Kingdom to join her and her princess friends, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Before your magical meal, you are enveloped in the atmosphere of the castle. Cinderella greets you in the foyer for a picture, while Jaque and Gus-Gus look down from above the crowds. The stain glass windows, the medieval architecture, and the beautiful tapestries make you feel as if you've stepped into a fairytale.

You're taken up a winding staircase into a beautiful, circular, dining room with a vaulted ceiling and large windows looking out upon Fantasyland. The view alone is breath taking day or night, but especially at night when the fireworks light up the sky. The dining is not extremely large, and the tables leave a little room in between them.
As you wait for your order to be taken you are given the option of a sword or wand, as well as a wishing star to be used at the right moment. A cast member brings a plate of pastries to the table, similar to the Bon Voyage Breakfast but I prefer Rapunzel's choices over Cinderella's. However, I did enjoy the Mickey shaped blueberry muffin!

I loved the atmosphere as we sat there under the vaulted ceiling, fairytale music playing around us, and very soon the princesses came out to say hello. Since we had no children with us I'm choosing to believe that's why all but Jasmine treated us as they did. I'll leave it at that to keep the magic alive.

I tried the Traditional Breakfast, subbing out the bacon and sausage for fruit. The entire meal was delicious! The eggs were nice and fluffy, the breakfast potatoes weren't greasy at all, and the I could tell the fruit was fresh. It was a simple breakfast but I enjoy atmosphere over food.

As you are dining there will be a time when the music changes and you are told to wave your wands and swords and use your wishing star to make a wish.
Overall, the food was good, but for those more experienced "foodies" I'm sure it would leave something to be desired. The experience however, even with moody princesses, is, for me, worth the price tag.
I love eating in a castle.
I love that you can meet so many of the princesses in one location.
I love getting into the park early with an early breakfast reservation, it's the perfect time for empty Main Street Pictures.
I loved that Mickey shaped blueberry muffin!
I believe everyone should do try this restaurant at least once. However, it may not need to be an every trip occurrence.
